Victoria & Alex & New Puppy!

Victoria and Alex’s pet photo session in Bend, Oregon was nothing short of amazing—and let’s be real, can you ever go wrong with a Golden Retriever puppy in the mix? Seriously, do I need to say more? If you’re planning on updating your family with a new furry friend, this gallery is a perfect example of how to capture those sweet moments!

Victoria and Alex reached out to get updated family portraits that would include their brand-new puppy, and it was such a fun session to be a part of. They had just gotten married a few months prior and were excited to introduce another crazy, four-legged sibling to their original dog before they expanded their family with a little human one (spoiler alert: human sibling has already been introduced)! Their love for animals, and their desire to showcase this exciting chapter in their lives, made the session feel even more special.

As a huge animal lover myself-I have a Golden Retriever and the next dog on my list is definitely a cute little mutt- I felt an instant connection with Victoria and Alex. It was so easy to see the love they had for their pets, and the way their dogs interacted with them was pure joy. Their two dogs were full of personality, and you could tell they were so excited to be siblings! The session was playful and full of laughter, and I couldn’t have been happier to capture the bond between this adorable duo and their pups.

It’s one of the best things about working with families like Victoria and Alex—you get to see the love and connection that animals bring into a home, and it’s honestly the best kind of energy to capture on camera!

The location Victoria and Alex chose for their photoshoot is honestly one of my favorite winter spots here in Central Oregon. Nestled inside the town of Bend, it feels like a hidden gem- serene and peaceful, like you’ve stepped into another world. Even though it is located in the heart of Bend, you’d never be able to tell. The beauty of this spot isn’t just in the landscape, though. It’s also incredibly accessible. There’s cell service, so you don’t need to worry about being completely off the grid if that spooks ya, and the parking lot is just a short, paved path away from the shooting area, making it the perfect spot for couples who want to get the stunning outdoorsy feel without too much effort. Plus, since it’s a quieter spot with minimal foot traffic, it offers a nice sense of privacy, letting us really focus on capturing the love between you and your partner without distractions.

All in all, it’s the perfect blend of convenience and natural beauty—just the kind of place to capture magical winter moments in Central Oregon.
