Olivia is truly one of the sweetest, most caring, and friendly professional dancers I’ve had the pleasure of doing a portrait photoshoot with! Her passion for dance is evident in everything she does, but what really stands out is her warmth and positive energy. When she reached out for a photoshoot, she knew exactly what she wanted: a mix of fun, confidence-boosting portraits, professional headshots for LinkedIn, and some stunning dance shots to represent her talent for the studio’s website where she teaches. She wanted to celebrate herself, and honestly, who wouldn’t want to capture a moment of pure self-love and confidence? It was all about highlighting her beautiful energy through a fun portrait session.
Once I sent my Central Oregon Location Guide over to Olivia, she was immediately drawn to this peaceful, outdoorsy spot that’s not far from where she lives. It was the perfect choice for her photoshoot- nestled in nature with a serene, almost magical vibe. The best part? This location is ideal for an evening weekday shoot after a long day of work, no matter the season. The classic Sparks Lake is ammmazingggg, but it can be hard to make the drive from Bend in a pinch (plus it’s closed for half of the year). Olivia knew this would give her the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure, making it the ideal backdrop to reflect her vibrant personality while offering a quiet, natural setting to truly shine.
Olivia came prepared with a carefully selected mix of outfits to capture all the looks she wanted for her shoot. She brought two outfits that she absolutely loves and feels amazing in- ones that highlight her personal style and the confidence she radiates. Then, she chose another look that felt both comfortable and professional, perfect for updating her LinkedIn profile and making a powerful first impression. The final outfit was one that represented the dance company she’s so passionate about- a stunning reflection of her commitment to her craft. It was such a joy to see Olivia light up as she moved through each outfit, effortlessly transitioning from one vibe to the next.
