Ashley Senior Portraits

This senior portrait photoshoot was so special to me because Ashley was a returning client! I first took her photos when she and her fiancé booked an engagement photoshoot along the Cascade Lakes Highway, capturing their love with the stunning Central Oregon mountains as their backdrop. That session was filled with adventure, laughter, and the kind of love that radiates in every frame, which made me so excited to photograph Ashley again for a new milestone!

In the photography world, you don’t always get a ton of returning clients unless there’s a big life event happening (hot take—professional photos don’t have to be reserved just for major milestones… booking a session just for fun is always a good idea!). But in Ashley’s case, there was a big life event. Actually, a few big life events! This superwoman was about to graduate college, had a beautiful wedding on the horizon, and, on top of all of that, her sweet son was about to turn one. It’s wild to think about how much life can change in just a short time, and getting to document her journey through all these huge moments was such an honor.

Even though I’ve done about a bajillion senior portraits, this was my very first time shooting on the OSU Cascades campus. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The lighting was absolute perfection, highlighting the modern architecture and natural beauty of the campus in a way that made every shot feel extra special. But what really made this session unforgettable was Ashley herself- her joy, her resilience, and the incredible journey she’s been on.

There’s something so powerful about senior portraits beyond just celebrating academic achievement. They mark the end of one chapter and the beginning of a whole new adventure. And for Ashley, this was more than just a graduation milestone. It was a reflection of how far she’s come, the love and family she’s built along the way, and all the exciting things still ahead.

Congrats, Ashley! You’ve accomplished so much, and I have no doubt that even more amazing things are coming your way. I feel so lucky to have captured these moments for you, and I can’t wait to see where life takes you next!
